The Challenge
Callan Pharma needed a distinct, modern brand system that could convey scientific rigor, trust, and innovation. The goal was to build more than just a logo—an identity that scales across digital and print, lab environments, and regulatory communications.
Approach & Strategy
By centering the brand around the concept of precision + agility, the visual system draws inspiration from the fox: clever, calculated, and adaptable. Each design decision—from geometry to motion—serves to reinforce Callan’s positioning at the intersection of science and innovation.
Logo & Symbol
The mark combines the letter “C” with a stylized fox silhouette to create a unique, memorable symbol. Built from strict geometry, it balances boldness with clarity, ensuring strong recognition in all contexts.
Color & Visual Language
The palette is anchored by Foxfire (vibrant orange) to signal energy and forward momentum, paired with Midnight Purple for depth and stability. Neutrals and gradients support contrast and flexibility across communications.
Typography
Primary Typeface: Neuzeit Grotesk — a geometric sans serif that conveys confidence and clarity.
Supporting Typeface: Inter — optimized for legibility in digital use.
Together they create a clear hierarchy and flexibility across media.
Application & Execution
From social media to environmental graphics and lab materials, the guidelines ensure consistency across every touchpoint. Applications include stationery, signage, digital layouts, icons, and more — all rooted in the same visual system.
